VPNs and streaming: what to expect

Streaming services license content by region and actively block many VPN servers. Results change over time, so no VPN can promise access to any specific service.

Things that affect streaming

• The server's location and how busy it is.
• Your own connection speed. A VPN adds some overhead.
• The streaming service's own blocking rules.

A practical tip

If one server is slow or blocked, switch to another server in the Location list. Auto mode does this for you when a server fails to connect.
